Restorative dentistry
Composite fillings bonded directly to the tooth, shaded to match the surrounding enamel and shaped to your natural bite.
When decay has broken through the enamel, the damaged tissue has to be removed and the tooth rebuilt. We use tooth-coloured composite, layered and cured directly in the mouth.
Composite bonds to the remaining tooth, which means we can be conservative and keep more of your natural structure than an older-style amalgam filling would have required.
We finish by checking your bite carefully. A filling that is even slightly high is the most common cause of post-treatment discomfort, and it is entirely avoidable.
