General dentistry
A full assessment of your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, with a written plan and costed options before anything is booked.
A check-up with us is a proper examination rather than a quick look. Your dentist charts every tooth, measures the health of your gums, checks your bite and screens the soft tissues of your mouth, lips and throat.
We take radiographs only when there is a clinical reason to — usually every 18 to 24 months for an adult with a stable mouth. Where images are taken, we show them to you on screen and explain what we are looking at.
You leave with a written treatment plan that lists what needs doing now, what can wait and what it will cost. Nothing is booked in until you have had a chance to read it.
