I had put off a root canal for two years because of what I imagined it would be like. Dr. Wijesinghe talked me through every stage before she started, and the appointment itself was genuinely uneventful. I wish I had come in sooner.
What sold me was that Dr. Fernando showed me a simulation and then told me one of the things I wanted was not realistically achievable with aligners. That honesty is why I went ahead. Fourteen months on, the result is better than the simulation.
My six-year-old had a bad experience at another clinic and would not open his mouth for anyone. Dr. Perera spent the entire first appointment just letting him sit in the chair and press the buttons. Third visit, he had a filling done without a murmur.
Straightforward, well explained and no pressure to buy anything extra. They took a photo of the starting shade so at the end there was no debate about whether it had actually worked — it clearly had.
I lost a front tooth in a cricket accident. The scan, the plan and the temporary all happened in the same week, so I was never walking around with a gap. The final crown is indistinguishable from the tooth next to it.
Dr. Jayasuriya measured everything at the start and again at three months so I could see the numbers improve. The treatment itself was not fun, but knowing it was working made the home routine much easier to stick to.
Rang at eight in the morning with a swollen face and was seen by half past ten as a completely new patient. They got me out of pain that day and booked the actual treatment for the following week.
The trial smile stage is what made the difference. I wore it for a week, decided the teeth were slightly too long, and they changed it before anything permanent happened. No other clinic I visited offered that.
Dr. Silva told me to expect two rough days, and it was exactly two rough days. Being prepared for it made it far easier to handle than being told it would be fine and then finding out otherwise.
I had not seen a hygienist in eleven years and was embarrassed about it. Menaka did not make a thing of it, just got on with it and showed me what to change. I have been back every six months since.
Two visits, no putty impressions, and the temporary held perfectly for the fortnight in between. The only reason it is not five stars is that parking on Lewis Place can be a scrum at midday.
I started braces at 34 and felt self-conscious about it. Being able to have adjustments at Nugegoda instead of driving into Colombo every six weeks is the reason I actually finished the treatment.
How we handle reviews
We publish reviews as written, including the critical ones. We do not remove a review because it is unflattering, and we do not offer anything in exchange for leaving one.
A member of staff checks each review against an actual appointment before it is published, which is why the number here is smaller than our total review count. If you have had a poor experience, please tell the practice manager directly — we would much rather fix it than read about it.
Feedback is the main way we find out what is not working. It takes a minute and it genuinely changes what we do.
