Emergency dentistry
Same-day assessment and relief for severe pain, swelling, bleeding, trauma or a lost filling or crown.
We hold emergency slots every working day at Colombo and Nugegoda. The aim of an emergency visit is to diagnose the problem and get you out of pain — definitive treatment is usually planned for a second appointment.
Call as early in the day as you can. Slots are allocated by clinical urgency, and swelling that is spreading, difficulty swallowing or trauma to an adult front tooth are treated as priorities.
If you have facial swelling that is closing your eye, spreading to your neck, or you are having difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to a hospital emergency department. That is beyond what a dental practice should manage.
Who will treat you
You can request any of these clinicians by name when you book, or choose the first available appointment.
Patient reviews
Rang at eight in the morning with a swollen face and was seen by half past ten as a completely new patient. They got me out of pain that day and booked the actual treatment for the following week.
